BT-ASP 800 Asphalt Mixing Plant Powers Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor Highway
In 2024, Thailand’s Ministry of Transport launched the expansion of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) highway—a key project to connect industrial zones and ports. Facing tight deadlines and tropical rain challenges, the contractor chose BONTOP’s BT-ASP 800 Asphalt Mixing Plant for its high efficiency and weather adaptability.
The plant’s intelligent temperature control system maintained stable asphalt output even during sudden downpours, ensuring 1,200 tons of qualified asphalt per day—30% higher than the client’s initial target. By the end of the project, the BT-ASP 800 had operated continuously for 180 days without major faults, helping the 45km highway section open 2 months ahead of schedule. “BONTOP’s equipment didn’t just meet our needs—it exceeded them,” said the project manager. “The after-sales team’s on-site support during monsoons was crucial to our success.”
